Research 3 minute wonders

What is a 3 minute wonder?

A three minute wonder is a mini documentary about a specific topic or person.

What is the aim/ purpose of a 3 minute wonder?

They help educate you about what is going on within in a few minutes and to help make you maybe feel intrigued by that topic or person.

What sort of topic would you expect to see on a three minute wonder?

You would expect to see hobby, nature medical, educational related topics maybe more that this selections of topics.

I like how this girl trains birds of prey (falcons) and how she started to practice when she was twelve. She talks about how she goes hunting and talks about how she feeds her bird.

Karl talks about nature mostly about the animals while a visit to the zoo. He talks about how if you take some of the fish out of the sea they sea level should drop, he says the sloth is a really weird animal because it hangs there sleeping most of the day.
What I have learnt about this documentary is that he doesn't go into much detail about what he is talking about which he says most of what he done at the zoo was boring. It is mainly his opinion on this topic.

This guy shows and talks to you about  his hobby which is making little clay polymer models of famous people or characters from TV series.
What I learnt is that it can take maybe more that 8 hours to create on of them little models and on the right hand side he would show other bits of work he had done.

This picture shows the tv guide for some of the documentary channels and the times the programmes will be on.
I choose at the crime and investigation programm rating from BARB figures it shows that the most popular TV show aired is Britains Darkest Taboos which had 98.1 thousand viewers and the least viewed was Homucide hunter which was 57.4 thousand viewers.
